The Office of Cancer Research Training and Education Coordination (CRTEC) creates and coordinates innovative cancer research education opportunities for trainees at all levels.

Educational Partners

By partnering with educational institutions and community groups and leveraging MCW’s rich culture of education and community engagement, the Office of CRTEC aims to strengthen educational pathways, develop early-career talent, and enhance career and leadership development.

Clinical and Translational Science Institute

A unique academic-community partnership that supports and advances education, collaboration, and research in clinical and translational science.


Community and Cancer Science Network (WI)

A collaborative across multiple sectors and specialties helping to address breast and lung cancer disparities in Wisconsin.


Office of Community Outreach and Engagement (COE)

A partnership to advance the promotion of career opportunities and skill-building activities for groups underrepresented in our community.


Office of Equity, Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (EDIB)

A joint effort to ensure learners at all levels have access to supportive training environments, culture-centered mentor training, and culturally responsive evaluation.
