Welcome to the ʼһ Libraries!
As a unit within the Office of Research, MCW Libraries provide resources and services for the MCW community, including Froedtert Hospital and Children's Wisconsin. Libraries connect people with information to do their best work.
Library staff support research, education, and clinical care through a comprehensive portfolio of services. MCW librarians hold American Library Association accredited master's degrees and receive significant ongoing training.
Library services include:
- Immediate access to the biomedical literature through journal subscriptions, e-book packages, and databases.
- Interlibrary loan and document delivery of articles and books not immediately available through library subscriptions.
- One-on-one consultations and classroom presentations with expert librarians.
Physical locations include:
- The Todd Wehr Library is the hub for library activities at the ʼһ. It is on the third floor of the Health Research Center (HRC).
- The Froedtert Library houses a strong collection of resources in consumer health, clinical medicine, and nursing. This resource center is on the second floor of the Froedtert Specialty Clinics Building.
- The Children's Wisconsin librarian's office is in the Daniel M. Soref Family Resource Center on the first floor of Children's Wisconsin next to the aquarium.
