The Wisconsin Alcohol Policy Project (WisAPP) focuses on preventing excessive alcohol use, to improve public health, safety, and our state’s economy. WisAPP provides training, tools, and technical assistance via email, telephone, video conference, and in-person.

WisAPP provides tools in the form of data, information, and strategies to help communities to work together to prevent excessive alcohol use.

Training

Training can be requested on a variety of topics. We are happy to customize training to fit your needs! Please contact us with any questions or to request specific training. Trainings include:

Technical Assistance

Technical assistance is provided to support communities as they work on alcohol related issues in their communities. Recent questions have been around alcohol licenses, AACC, Place of Last Drink, underage drinking, social host laws, festivals, and density. WisAPP will gladly provide research and information on alcohol in Wisconsin. We welcome opportunities to share information and provide you with facts and data.

WisAPP is a regular presenter at a variety of conferences, including in 2022 at the Wisconsin Public Health Association, American Public Health Association, AP-19, National Alcohol Policy Conference, and for many organizations and coalitions.
