Biography

Paul Stellmacher, MD, is an Assistant Professor at the ʼһ in the Department of Medicine, Divisions of Hematology and Oncology and General Internal Medicine, specializing in hospice and palliative medicine as well as hospitalist medicine. He obtained his medical degree from the ʼһ in 2012. He completed his internal medicine residency at the University of Kansas Medical Center (Kansas City, KS), followed by a fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at Stanford University (Stanford, CA). He is board certified in internal medicine (2015) and hospice and palliative medicine (2016). He is a member of the American College of Physicians, the American Academy of Hospice and Palliative Medicine and the Society of Hospital Medicine. He is interested in end-of-life education for medical trainees, as well as primary palliative care in the care of hospitalized adults.
