Biography

Dr. Sang Hong earned his medical degree from Northwestern University in 1993. After an internship in general surgery and a few years working in otolaryngology, he transitioned into ophthalmology, completing his residency at St. Vincent Catholic Medical Centers of Brooklyn & Queens in New York in 2001. Dr. Hong then spent two years doing fellowships, one in oculoplastics at Albany Medical Center in New York and another in neuro-ophthalmology and orbital surgery at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. In 2003, he joined the ʼһ ophthalmology department, where, in addition to his clinical work, he continues to teach and mentor medical students, ophthalmology residents, and oculoplastics fellows.
