Education
Undergraduate: University of Wisconsin-Madison
Hometown: Fox Point, Wisconsin
Hobbies & interests: I make my own pasta and it IS totally worth the extra work. Hiked in Asheville, North Carolina. Let me know if you have a suggestion where I should go next! Ran my first marathon in spring 2023.
Why I chose MCW: I choose MCW because it offers a high call volume in a level 1 trauma center with access to high level pediatric trauma and complex pediatric care all within the same campus. MCW is a resident-focused program with an early supervised operative autonomy and a strong community of co-residents and attendings that want to teach you to provide good quality care.
What MCW has to offer a candidate: MCW offers a good mixture of complex cases with a high volume of common orthopaedic conditions. This is truly a resident where one can expect to graduate comfortable doing bread and butter orthopaedics with the opportunity to explore the complexities of each medical specialty.
What I like about living in Milwaukee: Milwaukee offers all the major perks of living in a big city without the big city problems! We have all four seasons and a short drive away from the woods, lake, and downtown Chicago.
