Biography
Dr. Shahram Arsang is a PhD in Biostatistics, which he obtained under the supervision of Prof. Marjan Mansourian at Isfahan University of Medical Science. Following the completion of his doctoral degree, he joined Zanjan University of Medical Sciences as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biostatistics in 2019.
Dr. Shahram's primary research interests lie in applied statistics and data science, specifically in developing statistical methods for analyzing health data, cancer genomics, genetics, and cardiovascular diseases. His research focuses primarily on longitudinal data analysis, Bayesian methods, and genomics. He has collaborated on numerous projects investigating the role of lngRNA in cancer and psychological disorders. While he has collaborated with various research teams, he has been particularly involved in genetic research, neurological research, cardiovascular studies, and clinical trials. His current research interests include the development of Bayesian and machine learning methods in health, genomics and high-dimensional data.
